Welcome to our little stone cottage
Hello all, back in the summer of 2023 my wife Amanda and I dipped our toes into the French property market. After a road trip around Brittany and seeing how beautiful the countryside was we settled for a tiny cottage on the outskirts of the medieval town of Josselin.

Beautiful Josselin
The medical town of Josselin sits on the banks of the the river Oust and was voted the third most picturesque town in Brittany. The Chateau and town square are something like you would imagine Walt Disney would have come up with and you half expect the ‘child catcher’ to come bolting round the corner!
The River Oust
Running right through the heart of Josselin is the River Oust. it is a mixture of river and canal and starts as far north as Breast. It’s wide tow paths are great for both walkers and cyclists and is a fabulous way of seeing the villages that sit on its banks.
